NEW REVIEWS

CASINO ROYALE UK Certificate 12

This is a surprisly good film in the 007 series, much more hard hitting and realastic than previous outings.
The opening sequence featuring high crane action is awsome.
Daniel Craig as 007 is entiley believable, strong performance and great presence.
It is not often that i am focused on a film , this was one.

I recommend this to all

8/10

HOSTEL PART 2 UK certificate 18

Well Eli Roth has produced another very hard hitting and gruesome depiction of human depravity to profit by murder.

The sequences envolving torture and murder are the most hard hitting i have ever seen. So be warned.

The characterisation is some what extended, Hostel Part one was better balanced i think.
Not for all.

Shock

Overall 7/10

DIE HARD 4 UK certificate 15

NYC detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) delivers old school Justice to a new breed of terrorist, who try to bring down the US infrastructure by computer.
The stunts in this film are awsome, Bruce Willis is at his larconic best once more, fast moving and hard hitting.

See It
Recommend to all.

ANOTHER REVIEW

Paradise Lost UK certificate 18

After a terrifying bus accident maroons a group of young travellers on a remote Brazilian Beach town, they slowly discover that there is a darker more unsettling secret there....
This film is slow to get under way, and i have to say does not live upto the hype that it is better than Hostel.

Yes there is eventually blood and gore, however that a side, there are some genuine chilling moments.

The acting is good as well as the direction, but I would only recommend the film if you liked Hostel.......

Shock

ANOTHER REVIEW

Battlestar Galactica Razor UK Certificate 15
New Series.......................................................

This is a stand alone film bringing together the early fight against the cylons. Based aboard Battlestar Pegasus.
It is a gritty history of events before the main attack on the home worlds by the cylons and after under the command of Kendra Shaw & Lee adama respectively.
Well acted, well Directed, and superb special effects....
It provides the chilling clues of how humanity might end or survive...
The musical score is brilliant, listen to the full length version on the end titles.

If you like Sci-Fi and/or well acted drama then this is for you.....

This a Surprisingly Good Film...Superb Acting by all, particularly Kevin Bacon.

ANOTHER REVIEW

Eastern Promises UK Certificate 18

This is a well Scripted Film Directed by David Cronenberg.........

It is a story of one young girls rape and death and the consequences that follow..
The Russian Mafia in london headed by the proprietor of a plush restraunt...
which masks the cold and often brutal reality, the Bloody outcomes of violence and feuding.............................................
and the end game of revenge....................................................

Beautifully acted by Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen.....

Who bring love to the story line....which is often menacing and brutal...

A must see Film...........................................................................

I will add that the hype about it being ultra violent in the British press is as usual hogwash (nonsense)..........................

I recommend this film to all who like an adult film with great style......

Rescue Dawn (2006)

The film based on true events. Is a story of American fighter pilot.
Dieter Dengler (Christian Bale) shot down and captured in Laos during the Vietnam War. Dengler organised the risky escape for small group of prisoners...

I 've seen better films but plus for good photography and acting (Wonderful Bale) .
I recommended it to all, who like war movies with interesting script. (there isn't so much blood and the story isn't trivial like for example in Rambo  ) .

Saw 4 UK Certificate 18

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman

The by line is ....You thought it was over, but the games have just begun..

Another very Gory, Menacing, Tension filled outing in the series.
I have to say that this one surpasses the rest in it's gore and extreme horror.
Never the less a well acted and suspenseful story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat.....
The ingenuity of the traps set by jigsaw is mind boggling....
If you like horror with a punch then this is for you...

Shock Factor
Full marks

Hero Wanted (2008)

"After he awakens in a hospital, a man tracks down and murders the man that left him and a bank teller for dead during a robbery, only to end up having the slain thief's associates come after him in retaliation."

I like Cuba Gooding Jr (one of my favourite actors) but i dont like movies like this. Good begining, but later it's so predictable and typical hollywood storyline.

I not recommended this movie. Don't waste Your money and time!

5/10 (mainly for potential, unfortunately squander) :?

Buffalo Soldiers (2001)

I had watch this film with friends beer and weed and it was a great moment :)

"1989. The Berlin Wall is about to fall, and the world is about to be made safe for the new world order. But outside of Stuttgart, West Germany, at Theodore Roosevelt Army Base, Specialist Ray Elwood of the 317th Supply Battalion is about to find his own cold war turn white hot. Elwood's a lovable rogue, a conscript who's managed to turn his military servitude into a blossoming network of black market deals, more out of boredom than ambition. Officially, there's his day job as battalion secretary to the inept but caring Commander Wallace Berman. On the side, there's everything from selling the locals stolen Mop'N'Glo to cooking heroin for the base's ruthless head of Military Police, Sgt. Saad. When a new top sergeant arrives, with the avowed intention of cleaning the base up, Elwood thinks the new blood is nothing he can't handle, especially after he lays eyes on the top's daughter, rebellious Robyn. But that was before he figured in the $5 million in stolen arms that just landed on his lap, Berman's jealous wife, an insane Turkish drug dealer, and, of course, the resulting lust, betrayal, and murder."

The tank scene is amazing:
