Feature request

Im in a progress of doing some improvements to the stats tracker that include:
  • Displaying real time server chat (possibly saving it for history too)
  • More aggressive new server discovery
  • Ability to add a new server by hand/api/server mod
  • Weapon leaderboards
  • Leaderboards include stats for overall timeline (2007 onwards)
Perhaps you have any more interesting ideas?

-shared cheater DB with information when cheater present on server.
-admin panel for servers owner ?(instance renting ?)

I don't understand score for "player timeplay", it is not some skill's result, lol, it is just time spended, why make it as 1 of leaderboard..? I suppose that "score" is not needed.

I think the "Time Played" category is useful in some ways:

1. It tells how much time a player takes to play a mission, on average of course, because different maps require different amount of time. It gives me the incentive (and a little bit of pressure) to finish a mission as quickly as possible.

2. The player who spends the most time playing should offer a donation to the server by the end of the year. :PSN6:

Well, about time spended on mission I agree, it is needed, it is good, thanks 4 that statistic score, but, I ..think this "mission time" (4 example in COOP - "best time" and time for match in vip, barricade, ..) and overall player "time played" "score" statistic in all coop, barricade, vip so on are different categories. And I do not see sense of that overall time played "score".

I was wondering if it is possible to record the stats of kills by nades, breaching shotgun or explosion.

Also, would the stats "most teamhits with nades" and/or "most teamhit by nades" be of interests to players? I see that sometimes when the round ends, there would be a category called "most teamnades".

Nah, dont see sens of this, because, 4 example, in my case in COOP, those teamhits happens cause teammate is rushing forward right under grenade.., or cause that grenade launcher bounce is not always predictable - u shoot in 1 direction, it bounce from something unseen and come back right to u.. Also sometimes that teammate grenade hit is necessary to save that teammate from injury, death, been arrested, so on. Also in not COOP multiplayer all other modes (vip, barricade...) are CHAOS modes, so most of players moving chaotically, u dont know where the hell your teammates are, where they are going.., where are hostiles.. and ... in chaos all kinds of bad thing happens - team kills, grenade hits, ................

Oops, sorry guys, I forgot to state which servers my suggestions were intended for. :oops:

Just as Mazso m8y mentioned, my suggestions are meant to be for the VIP or BS servers.

The only significant stat that's missing is Kills per round. Its more relevant to a player's ability and helpfulness than k/d ratio.

Otherwise the website is nicely done.

What can be the use of displaying ingame chat online and is it worth the ressources needed to do so?
If you think it's needed to fill the gap in serverwatch I would prefer kills/arrests and maybe global chat only. Anyway I can't imagine who would read it, except waiting for a 'bb all' to prepare to join.

I don't like stats like k/d, kills/round, kills/anything and most arrests, etc...
Swat is a tactical game, so all those stats show nothing important at all, because even a player with negative k/d can throw a nade which makes the difference between losing and winning - especially in VIP mode. I see too many players playing for their stats only (camping in doors etc to not get killed, arresting while vip/team mate next to him is in trouble,...) but not for/with their team.

But when we are already talking about it: I would like to have kills/location,area (or distance between 2 kill locations) and a biggest camper scoreboard :D

That thing, that when some 1 failed mission and quit, and u connecting to the server after that guy, that failed mission added to your stats.. it is very annoying... Same with completed missions by some1 in bad or good way.. Also frequently, when u do mission solely, then some guys connect to the server and are not available in game, in mission stats do not usually seen that they were not in game, their and your status written as "not ready".., so it is looks like they were in game, and my results looks like not made solely by me, but with them in accompany... not talking, that my score, made solely by me, go to them too. Same things if i connect to some1s game, their bad or good result goes to my stats. It is not fair and annoying. Could it be fixed? So when some1s did mission (failed or completed), it will go to stats only to those, who were available in game, not to others, who just connected after failed or completed mission, or while mission, but were not available in game. Please.
