I think this is "normal" :lol:
I had this message sometime, if I remember that was depending ... wait for a better answer :p

Did you try to change sound settings in swat4 server ? maybe that could fix it.

Those 'new threads which are not' are due to me moving topics around in more suitable forums.
Strange decision to automatically mark them as 'unread' from phpBB...

That's normal as it is new in that forum, on vbulletin there was a option to remove it, i don't know about phpbb
