Hi everyone,

I got a problem with my laptop from one day to another. Normally my screen resolution is 1366x768, and whenever I have launched a game it set to 1024x768 on its own. But it has changed, all games run under 1366x768 even in their menus 1024x768 is written and I haven't changed any settings at all. I just turned the laptop on as I used to, tried to launch a game and it was like that. Tried all other games and the same problem stands.

I tried to set my computer back to a previous time and date but it writes an error: 0x80070005. I searched after this and I found the meaning of: access denied. I found no viruses. I have no idea what could be the problem.

If anybody has an idea, pls share it with me. Thanks in advance!

I should ask your laptop model, but since I'm little busy now :| I hope that helps to find what is strenching your 4:3 games to wide.

EDIT:

Try to look for some Hotkey in your laptop manual too.

In last case, if your display supports natively 4:3 format (what is not usual in laptops), we can create a shortcut to change windows res evrytime that you launch your game (well, you wont want that ;-) )

probably just change your graphic card settings from "fill" to "keep ratio"
