Dev Diary from 21th September :) http://www.serellan.com/2012/09/dev-dia ... mber-21st/

The engine used by the game is Unreal Engine 3 (good point to create mod, map, and many things if dev team open the game to the community).

Join the game designer of GRAW and Halo Reach to help create the spiritual successor to the original Rainbow Six and SWAT4.
Haha, I am pretty sure they didn't mention SWAT4 before when they started the kickstarter. Did someone tell them to add the game later on?

Also..
TAKEDOWN plans a single player campaign, co-op play, and competitive multiplayer. First Person view is planned on PC, with PS3 going Third Person. Xbox 360 view is to be determined based on feedback from the 360 community.
Aaand, it's done. A tactical shooter that will be designed for speed and freedom of consoles can provide. Not interested.

EDIT: Now I remember it. They re-started this kickstarter after their first one failed. This whole thing sounds like a excuse to create COD like game with few different elements thrown in. It sounded bad back then as well tbh.

That is exactly what they are not out to create.

Don't worry. Untill that game be released, all of us will have quantic computers in home.
I hope that the Microsoft stop to make OS and back to 'steal' it, like in old MS-DOS+Win 3.11 times ;) cuz I don't I realy don't wanna install those master pieces, such as: WinMe, Vista, Win 8... could it be worse?! :s

Indeed! All Swat4 Community are betting theirs chips in this game, m8y.
It worth more than jsut try, but also make a free publicity among S4 players.
I just hope that keep the primary aspects of Swat 4. (See the FAQ)

Btw, thx for news update Di m8y :)

Maybe but I was an R6 fan before SWAT3/SWAT4. SWAT4 was my stop gap after the demise of RvS :p

The R6 series were hardcore hardcore tactical shooters, if you never played it before it required much more planning than Co-Op does in SWAT4.

R6, RS, RvS, awesome games ;) they were the first FPS games I really really played :p

I was destroyed when they released Lockdown / Vegas and called them R6 games.....
