Unfortunately, humans are not the only passengers. A shapeshifting alien creature has taken residence, its only goal is to kill as many people as possible. The crew must think quickly to stop this menace before it destroys mankind.

<><><>

Oh dear a truly average outing with some sub-standard acting and average special and visual effects.
I guess the producers relied on the likes of Bruce Willis to pull them through.
Willis fans may well be disappointed.

4.5/10

Hellraiser : Judgement
UK certificate 18
78 mins

Image

Genre : Horror

Contents Advisory : Strong Violence/Gore

<><><>

Detectives Sean and David Carter are on the case to find a gruesome serial killer terrorizing the city. Joining forces with Detective Christine Egerton, they dig deeper into a spiraling maze of horror that may not be of this world.

<><><>

mmmm Not a patch on the early Hellraiser in the franchise probably because of the low budget that was allocated.
That said the acting was good as were the special and visual effects.
One for horror fans me thinks.

Wonder Women 1984

Directed by : Patty Jenkins

<><><>

Diana must contend with a work colleague and businessman, whose desire for extreme wealth sends the world down a path of destruction, after an ancient artifact that grants wishes goes missing.

<><><>

Oh dear... this sequel is overly long and slow paced with some below average performances.
The dialogue was poor with larger than life plot holes and a distinct lack of action.
On a positive note the special and visual effects were good.

6/10

Breakthrough aka Winter War
UK certificate 15
86 mins

Image

Genre : Action/War

Contents Advisory : Strong Violence/Injury Detail

Directed by : Dejan Babosek

Special Note : The Film is a Slovenian production with sub-titles or Dubbing.

<><><>

A young resistance fighter commander faces an impossible task when he has to rescue 500 freedom fighters surrounded and outnumbered by a Nazi German division, high in the mountains in harsh winter conditions.

<><><>

A film made on a shoe string budget and it shows...However performances and storyline were good.
The special effects are ok to, but the visual effects lacked punch.
I did not like the dubbing voice actors which was of poor quality....much better to use the original Slovenian language and sub-titles.

An average outing in the genre and as I keep on saying you do need high production values for Sc-Fi.
Still not a bad effort.

5/10

wow.....Fans of gore will like this and as will fans of Sci-fi and horror. Performances were good and in keeping with some excellent special and visual effects. The musical score was atmospheric and also in keeping with the storyline.
Brandon Cronenberg follows in his father's footsteps in stretching the boundaries for what is acceptable in cinema.
Make no mistake there are some very disturbing scenes.

Zack Snyder's definitive director's cut of Justice League. Determined to ensure Superman's ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.

<><><>

Much better than the first DVD issue which was in effect the theatrical version...This Directors cut is awesome with top draw performances alround. As one might expect the visual effects were also top draw and complimented by good cinematography.
Fans of DC comics characters will love this extended version.
