SWAT on win 10 in 1080p

First of all hello everyone. Yes I am alive guys. Anyone remember me yet? i know haven't been there for long time but I can't forget about all these good years with you guys in swat. Miss these days. Miss our game play and talks with lot of laugh on team speak. Specially grandpa Torq so about me I'm okay. Hope you all as well. I had to finish my studies and few things. Well let's get back to topic. As I miss you guys i though we could play something. I don't know what you guys playing mostly. About me, if we talk about shooters currently I play mostly Bf 1 and some pubg and apex. But I though maybe I will try to run swat someday if you guys still play it and if it works on win 10. I know there is some version on GOG but I don't wanna spend money for that especially when I have original version on cd. And I was thinking if this version could work on win 10 with 1080p? Anyone know something about that?

The GOG version runs fine on win10 1080p. Ingame, I have resolution set to one of the default 4:3 and black stripes on the sides. Original CD should work too but you'll have to work around having to insert it every time you play. Gaming laptops these days don't even have CD players anymore.

I unfortunately had to crack the game because when I started playing Sierra Games had already closed

Game on Windows 10 and I never had any problems Version 1.1 and 1.0 I must say that with the crack no longer use the CD

I do not like to crack a game but I was forced also because my PC does not have the CD player
For the rest it works in 4:3 then at the sides the black stricies but apart this works fine
On the internet there are guides to have the 16:9 on SWAT but I have never tried

We'll have a thought to buy on gog.com to support the game

Ofc we play SWAT4, you nab. There is no better game and probably will never be. XD

SWAT4 works everywhere: Windows XP, 7, 10, so it is not any black magic to run it and play it.

Ingame default server list is dead, though. But Serge m8y created patch (https://github.com/sergeii/swat-patches ... sterserver) or you can just copy IP from https://swat4stats.com/servers/

Gaming laptops these days don't even have CD players anymore.

PC's hardly come with CD/DVD players these days

I have the discs but got the GOG version because it's really cheap and it just makes things easier, it's all packaged up for Win10 so makes it easier to install and play.

If I recall I had problems with my disc version telling me I didn't have enough GPU RAM

Yes. I will bother you again muahahaha well maybe for you is cheap. In my currency it is still too much like for game so old i don't want to buy it again especially that I have original version on cd.. But you can always donate me and I will buy
