Some of you are familiar with this CoD4 mod, it adds some special weapons like EMP nades, laser cannons, portals and many other cool features



So i was going to install the same thing on our FFA server.
I nearly finished testing it untill found this while looking for some more detailed readme.

Some guy decompiled this mod and found out that the entire mod is a BIG hack. In other words the mod steals server passwords and gives a hidden ability to use AIMBOT for people who know how to activate it (developers)

The developer is now globally banned from pb streamed servers

Later he has apologized and claims to remove all malicious code from the mods however i wont take a risk to install it again.

He's also a developer of another famous mod - ZombieMod btw...

I've been checking out some new maps for server but I'm having a hard time testing them locally. I'll have a look into it over the weekend

dont know if this is relevant .... but my brother plays on beer clans mod server.....and he reckons its the nutz
he hasnt played standard cod4 for months......

not sure what mod it has but think its just maps.......might be worth a look..

I dunno, the game still has yet to get realy boring for me ... but that's just cause half of the time I chitchat ingame and act like a nutter ...
