One Missed Call UK Certificate 15

Directed by Eric Valette

College student Beth Raymond witnesses the gruesome deaths of two of her friends, just days apart, & realises a disturbing connection. A chilling voicemail message they were sent of the sound of their deaths days before hand.
Beth teams up with Detective Jack Andrews to unravel the mystery before Beth receives her own call.

Nicely acted chiller with good storyline & special effects.

I recommend to all..

ANOTHER REVIEW

The Invasion UK Certificate 15

Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel

Something terrifying has come to Earth, something that attacks us while we sleep & turns us into souless replicants. The clock is ticking as Washington DC psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) & her colleague (Daniel Craig) embark on a heart-stopping journey into a nightmarish world where the only way to stay alive is to stay awake.

This Film promised much but in my view delivered little, apart from the good acting, the storeline left much to be desired. All in all a mediocre film considering its origins.

One for a rainy day....

5/10

Planet Terror

After an experimental bio-weapon is released, turning thousands into zombie-like creatures, it's up to a rag-tag group of survivors to stop the infected and those behind its release.

I recommend this movie to people who like horror and who love blood/gore. This movie is non-stop gore and i love it.

As he grows under their morbid nurturing, Thomas develops a ravenous appetite for chainsaws & torture. Mum & Dad UK Certificate 18

Genre : Crime Horror
Directed by : Steven Sheil

When Lena, a young Polish Girl working as an Office cleaner at Heathrow Airport missses her last bus home, she accepts an offer of help from a friendly co-worker Birdie, who lives nearby with her adoptive parents.........Knocked unconscious after arriving at the house, Lena soon finds herself imprisoned in a surburban house of horrors, a living nightmare of abuse, torture & murder........................................
Designated a "Mummy's Girl", Lena's only options appear to be to become part of the family......and join Mum & Dad in their insanity....or Die.

This is a grim tale indeed & is loosely based on the notoriuos serial killers Fred & Rose West...
Good acting however does lift the storyline of this British Film....
BUT be Warned however...
It is sick in places..although there are graphic horror scenes much is implied.
It is the Directors deput..not bad.

Recommend only to die hard Crime Horror fans.
